Her Holiness Dr Yogeshwari Devi Ji
As an eminent exponent of Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, Her Holiness, Dr. Yogeshwari Devi has dedicatedly served her Spiritual Master for over thirty years. Disseminating his message of selfless divine love through her illuminating discourses, Didi Ji (as she is affectionately known) is also responsible for publishing his teachings while being President of Radha Govind Samiti, an auxiliary of the international mission he founded, Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat.
Didi Ji was born into a well-to-do and respected family in Uttar Pradesh, India. Being a brilliant student, she excelled academically becoming a Gold Medalist in M. Sc. Physics, culminating in her receiving a PhD in Physics from Delhi University in 1984. Her research work that followed on electrical transport properties of disordered materials proved pivotal, as this led her to seek answers to the complete order in the life of a human being. Where is the end to the disorders so apparent in life? What is it that baffles science?
It was during this period that the glorious moment came when she met the ‘Descension of Divine Love and Bliss’, bhakti-yoga-rasavatara, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj. Hearing his philosophy of divine love revealed in such a logical and scientific manner so impressed her that she felt as if her age-long search had finally come to an end. In him, she could find the answers to all her questions, and much more. She felt incredibly blessed.
On the day of Sharat Purnima in 1985, Shri Maharaj Ji graced her to become one of his chosen few to spread this philosophy, entrenched in Vedic tradition, all over the world. And so began her spiritual journey as a sanyasi preacher. She has delivered countless discourses within India and abroad to thousands of people of all religions, faiths, creeds and ages, presenting her Spiritual Master’s philosophy in a simple, compelling and attractive manner.
Didi Ji’s discourses begin with LOVE and end with LOVE and only LOVE, the treasure of life and the only way to attain God, as established by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj.
